Element is proud to be one of the largest Nadcap approved suppliers in materials and product testing and inspection for the Aerospace industry.

Established in 1990 by SAE International and administered from the Performance Review Institute (PRI) in Pittsburgh, Nadcap is a worldwide cooperative accreditation program for the Aerospace and Defense industries. The program brings industry and government experts together to establish and define operational requirements.

Nadcap performs routine auditing for all suppliers, evaluating the condition of the facilities, training programs, internal quality systems, and more to ensure conformity to the rigorous industry-wide standards. The standardized approach allows Nadcap approved suppliers, like Element, to maintain a consistent level of quality throughout their operation.

Element’s Nadcap accredited laboratories

Element currently has over 35 Nadcap accredited laboratories in ten countries and holds over 55 Nadcap accreditations in materials testing, non-metallic materials testing, non-destructive testing (NDT), chemical processing, and Aerospace quality systems (AQS).
