Veronica is responsible for conducting failure analysis and metallurgical investigations in primarily steels, cast irons, and cast and wrought aluminum alloys for industrial clients.

Veronica holds B.S and M.S degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from Michigan State University and Case Western Reserve University, respectively. Veronica is a member of ASM and AFS. 

Experience

Veronica spent three years working in ceramic manufacturing and lamp technology for General Electric, and five years working with rolled and forged aluminium, for the automotive, commercial vehicle and aerospace industries as a Senior Development Engineer, Staff Metallurgist and Customer Technical Support Engineer for Alcoa prior to joining Element Materials Technology.

Project Experience

Project experience includes managing failure analyses, defect analyses, and microstructural evaluations, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy analyses of different wrought and cast metallic components for the automotive industry.
