How mixed flowing gas testing is performed

The purpose of MFG testing is to simulate real-world corrosion from environmental exposure conditions. By creating controlled test conditions, in which the temperature (°C), relative humidity (%RH), and concentration of gaseous pollutants and other essential variables are carefully defined, monitored, and controlled, Element allows you to evaluate how your product will perform.

Gasses are tested at levels in the parts per billion range in our advanced chambers. Common test standards include ASTM B827, ASTM B845, IEC 60068-2-60, and EIA-364-TP65A
