Fire Resistance Testing
This testing determines the likely behavior of an element of construction when subjected to a fully developed fire. Fire Resistance is a property of a building component or structure and evaluating it usually requires a test of a representative part of a building rather than individual materials in isolation. This testing is for systems such as walls, floors, doors, shutters, penetration seals, dampers, to name a few.
Assessments can cover a multiplicity of changes or variations to already tested systems, rather than retesting every configuration. Our consultants can also work with clients on Test and Assessment packages to ensure that the client gets the maximum range of products or configurations covered for the minimum cost.
