If you are looking for reassurance or peace of mind that the air in your workplace, home, or general environment is safe to breathe, Element’s asbestos reassurance air testing can provide you with that peace of mind.
If you are undergoing asbestos removal or remediation, asbestos air testing is required by law in to obtain a certificate of reoccupation.
Element offers UKAS accredited asbestos air testing services backed with years of industry expertise. To evaluate the concentration of airborne asbestos fibers, our technicians draw a measured volume of air from your environment through a membrane filter which captures any airborne fibers. They then mount this filter on a microscope slide and render it transparent for evaluation under phase-contrast microscopy. Our experts then count the fibers present on the filter to determine if the concentration of asbestos in the air is at a safe level.
Working in a UKAS accredited laboratory, our experts strive every day to get faster, more precise results that are right the first time. Highly competent individuals convey all our asbestos advice in line with national legislation under CAR 2012. Our testing and inspection services are delivered in accordance with HSG248 “The analysts’ guide for sampling, analysis and clearance procedures” and are accredited to the international standards ISO/IEC 17025.
We are dedicated to providing complete management solutions through both testing and consultancy services. Our goal is to help you achieve asbestos management compliance, prevent exposure to asbestos, and avoid the emotional consequences and severe risks associated with exposure.
