During a time of continued and exciting growth, Element Materials Technology Group are now recruiting for a full time, permanent Business Development Manager to join our winning team in Sweden. Working within the dynamic Aerospace market this role will work closely with a major Customer and will afford the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to deliver strategic new business offerings across the entire Elements service range, including calibration and testing services into the Swedish Defence market. This role will suit a candidate with exceptional communication and influencing skills, someone with a proven track record of successfully working with technical leads right up to senior management management. The Business Development Manager is an enterprise seller assigned to the highest accounts by sector.  Responsible for pursuing sales opportunities to sell the full breadth of Element services within specified accounts in order to meet their assigned budget. The Business Development Manager supports Strategic and/or Key Accounts within their specified territory with any activities needed at local sites.


Desired Skills and Abilities

·         Establish and proactively maintain a strong professional relationship with key decision makers and influencers within assigned accounts

·         Expand business with dormant and existing accounts; prospects and develop new potential accounts

·         Identify opportunities early in the sales cycle to trade-up to the broader services Element has to offer

·         Achieve sales goals by converting, retaining and penetrating accounts

·         Manage relationships and utilize technical support to assist in Sales

·         Identify full customer test needs to uncover additional opportunities within accounts across Element.


Desired Skills and Abilities

·         Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements

·         Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events/projects in the community, with customers and within the company 

·         Ability to interface with clients, win new work and determine their requirements; able to help develop proposals including cost estimates, work plan and terms and conditions 

·         Ability to travel up to 75% of the time; some overnight travel may be required.
