EMC Directive 2014/30/EU - Harmonized Standards for 2022

The official journal for the EMC Directive (2014/30/EU) lists harmonized standards that provide a presumption of conformity. There are several key standards that have new editions or amendments that must be addressed for products entering the market to continue to have that presumption of conformity.
Manufacturers must ensure that their products meet these new versions to continue to comply with the essential requirements of the EMC Directive. Element recommends contacting your test lab to discuss if these changes only affect documentation like test reports and Declarations of Conformity, or if additional testing is required to bring reports up to date with the new standards.
