Medical Device Accelerated Aging
Accelerated aging is especially important for medical device manufacturers to estimate the useful life of a product when it has yet to be determined under normal use. Our medical device testing experts can help predict the lifespan and safety of your product.
Our accelerated aging test methods use environmental chambers to determine the effects of temperature, humidity, UV exposure (UVA or UVB) and Cool White UV (indoor lighting cranked at a higher intensity) in compressed time and in a laboratory environment. The most common accelerated aging test we perform is ASTM F1980.

Shelf life testing helps determine if the packaging will protect a perishable product. Food packaging material has to provide insulation from temperature extremes, and dry food products can be ruined by humidity.
