The most diverse materials laboratory in the Midwest has been in business since 1938, partnering with companies in almost all industries, and testing a vast array of materials and products. The St. Paul facility operates metallurgical, nondestructive, welding engineering, and chemical laboratories as well as complete test centers for building products such as windows and doors, foam and mattresses, and anchors and fasteners.
Nadcap-accredited for nondestructive and aerospace quality system testing (AC7004) and testing under the ICC codes. Element is also an ISO-IEC 17020 third party quality agency.
Partner laboratory in Orlando for building products
Element St. Paul's capabilities include the services of an Orlando, Florida laboratory, Certified Testing Laboratories. CTL and Element have a partnership agreement that provides CTL and Element customers with easy access to a significantly expanded scope of services in manufacturing, engineering, architecture, and construction testing. Some of these services include testing of solar panels, roofing, louvers, spray foam products, soffits, and siding.
