As an international certification body, BM TRADA provides Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certification programs to forestland owners, corrugated manufacturers, printers, and manufacturers of furniture and other wood products to certify the sustainability of their forest management practices and responsible purchasing.

The Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) is a North American certification standard set out by SFI Inc., a non-profit organization that is responsible for maintaining, overseeing and improving the internationally recognized Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) program.

The program establishes unique fiber sourcing requirements that promote responsible forest management on all suppliers' lands.

The SFI Certification

The SFI chain-of-custody (CoC) certification tracks the percentage of fiber from certified forests, certified sourcing, and post-consumer recycled content.

With on product labeling, SFI identifies both certified sourcing and CoC claims to help consumers make responsible purchasing decisions.
