About Element Yongin – Giheung

Opened in July 2005, Giheung laboratory in Yongin, South Korea, offers specialized services for analysis, inspection and testing of: food and livestock products, pesticide residues, antibiotics, microplastics, biodegradability, environment, and packaging material.

Giheung Services

  • Designated as a food and livestock products testing and health functional food inspection laboratory by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety
  • Designated as a safety inspection laboratory by the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service
  • Designated as a specialized waste analysis laboratory by the National Institute of Environmental Research

•  Analysis of products subject to eco-label certification ( Article 17(Certification of Environmental Labels)  of the Environmental Technology and Environmental Industry Support Act)

• Random sample-focused inspection according to PLS implementation (analysis of of 370 and 473 types of pesticide residues)
