Services

Microbiological and IBOAH

Element Material Technologies Microbiological testing services follow IBOAH and FDA guidelines to ensure that your dairy products are safe for distribution.

Microbiological Testing

The Indiana Board of Animal Health (IBOAH) uses the FDA 2400i guidelines to ensure your dairy product containers are safe for distribution. Element’s experts, and testing facility are certified annually to conduct tests that properly meet PMO guidelines as issued by the National Coalition of Interstate Milk Shippers (NCIMS). As part of the annual proficiency requirements, technicians are audited individually and required to use the swab method under the FDA 2400i Pasteurized Milk Container Testing Method. By using swab method the technicians are able to determine the Residual Total Aerobic bacteria count (RBC) and the Residual Total Coliform bacteria count (RCC) to certify the container’s safety for distribution.
