From 1st August 2025, manufacturers designing or selling ‘connected equipment’ for Europe and United Kingdom will be required to certify their products for the new cybersecurity legislation in the Radio Equipment Directive (RED).

Why should I attend?

This changing legislation will require manufacturers to ensure that both new and existing products are compliant. As part of the RED, the mandatory legislation will apply to any products with radio-equipment as part of the device or product, across automotive, consumer electronics, medical devices, and more.

Are you prepared for this transition?

To understand more about the new legislation and the manufacturers’ compliance requirements, join Element’s Technical Solutions Manager, Alexander Toohie, on 16 July at 3 PM BST where Alex will present on the topic of “Cybersecurity - RED, PSTI, CRA”.

This webinar aims to provide manufacturers, either designing or selling, ‘connected devices or equipment’ within the European Union an understanding of the legislative changes and how to prepare.

Alex will walk through the background and evolution of cybersecurity, the RED, PSTI and CRA legislation, as well as the product assessment process.
