A former Postdoctoral Fellow at Rice University, Dr. Coronado is an internationally renowned expert in the field electrochemical processes in corrosion, particularly in carbon steels.

In addition to Doctoral level work in coatings, aluminum, iron, polymers, and stainless steel, Eva has researched the prevention and impact of corrosion in industries such as nuclear power, petroleum, and aviation and aerospace.

Eva is a proactive participant and leader within the international corrosion community and is an active member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), the globally recognized, premier authority for corrosion control solutions.

Eva has authored several articles and papers on corrosion, published in Surface and Coatings Technology, European Polymer Journal, and other scholarly publications over the last few years.
