Omid has successfully established advanced manufacturing plants and laboratories for various sectors, including automotive, railway, oil & gas, marine, and food/medical packaging, leveraging his more than 20 years of expertise in polymer science and composite materials.

Internationally recognized as a reviewer and editor for peer-reviewed journals, Omid has contributed to more than 20 distinguished publications. He actively participates in conference committees for API and NACE standards.

In his role as a Principal Engineer at Element Houston-Cypress, Omid specializes in materials science, focusing on service lifetime prediction, Design of Experiment, testing, and characterization. His commitment to upholding industry-leading standards is evident as he continuously deploys innovative strategies to enhance the performance, durability, and safety of materials in accordance with international market norms, driven by his mission to contribute to a safer and more efficient world.
