Element Muscat uses X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Spectrometer analysis to produce the chemical composition and evaluation of specific mining targets for commodity minerals. In addition, we carry out Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) for acid digestion of the sample to determine the chemical composition of industrial minerals.
The analysis reports generated during the exploration stage form the basis of resource estimation within a given area that can assist the mining company’s extraction plan.
ColdBlock™ Digestion Technology
Element Muscat implements ColdBlock™ Digestion which allows preparation of various sizes of mining samples quickly and efficiently. Existing technology can take over 16 hours to digest mining samples and produce toxic acids, while ColdBlock™ Digestion technology delivers fast digestion times of 10-15 minutes and uses focused infrared energy to heat the sample in an acid mixture, producing 'greener' results.
