Our service offering covers a wide range of Australian Standards as well as other global standards, including BS, EN, IMO, ISO, ASTM, UL and NFPA.
Element Melbourne also provides a Fire Assessments service, and can work with clients on a test and assessments program to reduce the testing cost, or to provide wider scope of variations based on testing already carried out.

Reaction to Fire

Fire Resistance Testing
This testing determines the likely behavior of an element of construction when subjected to a fully developed fire. Fire Resistance is a property of a building component or structure and evaluating it usually requires a test of a representative part of a building rather than individual materials in isolation. This testing is for systems such as walls, floors, doors, shutters, penetration seals, dampers, to name a few.
Fire Assessments
Assessments can cover a multiplicity of changes or variations to already tested systems, rather than retesting every configuration. Our consultants can also work with clients on Test and Assessment packages to ensure that the client gets the maximum range of products or configurations covered for the minimum cost.
Fire safety engineering analysis and assessments
We undertake detailed fire safety engineering analysis and modelling to assess credible fire hazards to demonstrate the performance of the fire safety strategy.
