Since 1 October 2010, it has been a Building and Construction Authority requirement for Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) suppliers of construction projects in Singapore to have third-party certification based on SS EN 206, SS 544-1, SS 544-2 and SAC certification criteria “CT 06 – SAC Criteria for Ready-Mixed Concrete Producers”. This applies to all plants supplying ready-mixed concrete for structural use in Singapore, including precast structural elements manufactured locally or overseas.
Element Singapore Sungei Kadut Loop - Element Construction Testing (S) Pte Ltd, formerly Admaterials Technologies Pte Ltd, have been involved in this certification scheme for over 15 years and were one of the first Certification Bodies accredited by SAC. We have provided certification to over 148 concrete batching plants (RMC and Precast) in Singapore, Johor and Batam.
