Element utilizes highly sensitive instrumentation across industrial sites to make a comprehensive assessment of emissions from Point Sources (Stacks/Ducts/Vents), Fugitive releases and Ambient process emissions to calculate both the quantity and type of gases being emitted. This work is typically carried out using a combination of calibrated direct reading instruments and other extractive sampling methods. Each Greenhouse Gas (GHG) has a different Global Warming Potential (GWP). GWP measures the ability of each substance to trap heat in the atmosphere over time (relative to Carbon Dioxide (CO2)).
