Gary

Established in 1986, the Element Gary laboratory services the steel industry, fabricators and processors. Our engaged experts can perform a wide range of chemical testing on solid parts, an extensive array of metallurgical evaluations including image analysis capabilities, and a multitude of mechanical tests including tensile testing up to 600,000 pounds with capacity for specimens up to 3-inch square tube and 2-inch solid round, impacts, Jominys, bends and drop weight tests. The facility also has a large scale macroetch operation.
