About Element Center Line

Located outside of Detroit in Center Line, Michigan, Element Center Line was launched a satellite location to our Warren facility in support of live-fuel testing. Today we remain one of the largest rated fuel system and component testing laboratories in North America.

The fuels component laboratory is a free-standing facility housing 4,900+ square feet of explosion-proof test cell area, rated to Class 1 / Division 1 electrical standards. Equipment includes intrinsically safe cycling temperature chambers capable of -65˚C to +150˚C, two 10 x 10 hot rooms capable of reaching +70˚ and a small volume dynamic fuel chiller/heater with a range of  -40˚C to +70˚C cycling fuel temperatures. 

Our Center Line facility also features fuel pump module durability test stands with capacity for 100+ samples, as well as multiple performance test benches. 

Element Center Line maintains accreditation through the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) to ISO/IEC 17025.
