Located in one of the world’s leading metals manufacturing areas, the laboratory began by providing testing and calibration services to steel production, manufacture and fabrication companies in 1880. Today, Element Sheffield services the Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Power Generation sectors, including Nuclear and Renewable Energy clients.
Element Sheffield performs state-of-the-art materials testing, mechanical testing, and calibration. The Northern England laboratory holds NADCAP and UKAS accreditation; we adhere to a rigorous quality assurance system to ensure confidence in all measurements and test undertaken, and we carry out regular internal audits and reviews as well as external assessments by third parties.
