About Element Abu Dhabi - Umm al Naar
Established in 1994, Element Abu Dhabi - Umm al Naar offers multi-disciplined materials testing services to the Oil and Gas and Construction sectors from two locations in Umm Al Nar (Metallurgy / Corrosion / Coatings / Chemistry / Calibration / Environmental monitoring) and Al Reem Island (Civils). The facility is accredited to ISO 17 025 by UKAS, GAC and ENAS along with multiple client approvals from the Oil & Gas majors. Abu Dhabi Metallurgy has also established itself as the regional centre of excellence for Fracture Mechanics (CTOD), Sour Service Corrosion testing (SSCC, HIC, G28 and Full Ring Testing up to 48” OD), Failure Analysis (including SEM/EDS) and site based NDT Services including Positive Material Testing (PMI), Replication metallography and Hardness testing.
