LONDON, UK – August 10, 2015 – Environ Laboratories of Minneapolis, MN, a leading international player in the Aerospace Product Qualification Testing space, has been formally rebranded under the Element Materials Technology name and will in future be known as Element Minneapolis.

The A2LA-accredited facility provides an extensive range of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Environmental, Climatic, Dynamics, Hydraulics and Fuel System testing services. It services industry-leading clients in the Aerospace, Telecommunications, Automotive and Medical sectors.

Rick Sluiters, Element’s Executive Vice President, Aerospace, comments: “When Environ Laboratories was acquired by Element in January 2015, it was really the first time that we had added a new and significant PQT capability in the Aerospace sector. The remarkable integrity of the Environ team, led by Alan Thompson, was a stand-out feature of the company while its market-leading expertise in EMC testing was built over many years. Over the last six months of the integration process, we have focused on retaining and enhancing those important features that make Environ so special. We are truly excited by the new challenges ahead for Element Minneapolis.“

Through the acquisitions of both Environ, and more recently TRaC Global in the UK, we have significantly strengthened our position in the market in a very short period of time to become the largest independent Materials Testing and PQT services provider in the global Aerospace sector.”
