MTT-Werkstofflabor GmbH located in Herne, Germany has recently completed their rebranding as an Element location and will in future operate under the name Element Herne.
Element Herne is an exceptionally well run metals laboratory and workshop within the European part of the Element Group of companies and is equipped with a wide variety of testing equipment including a drop-tear-test facility, a 1200 kN tensile test frame and offers a full range of services allowing for metallography, mechanical testing, chemical analysis and corrosion testing. In addition the facility has a large in-house machine shop that contains the very latest CNC machines alongside more conventional tools.
The laboratory is accredited according to DIN-EN-ISO/IEC 17025 and houses an independent team of materials testing and investigation specialists.
