LONDON, UK – November 30, 2015 – Exova Group plc (now owned by Element Materials Technology), the global testing services provider, has acquired Western Technical Services (WTS), a specialist provider of non-destructive testing and inspection of components and equipment in the food, dairy, brewing and pharmaceutical industries.
WTS offers a range of laboratory and on-site services including its patented Accusense System™ that identifies leaks in heat exchangers used extensively in dairy and beverage production. The proprietary test method is already deployed throughout Europe and America and presents significant market extension opportunities.
WTS counts leading organisations including ABInBev, Dairycrest, Carlsberg and Premier Foods among its customers. The company also supports a number of industries through structural and engineering inspection services including ultrasonic testing, weld procedure and material hardness surveys, as well as the inspection and repair of manufacturing equipment.
