London, UK – September 2, 2019 – Element Materials Technology (Element) has agreed a three year contract renewal with McDermott, a premier provider of technology, engineering and construction solutions to the energy industry.
The agreement will see Element deliver a range of testing services for onshore and offshore fabrication projects in the oil & gas sector. Working directly from its Abu Dhabi laboratory, with support from the Al Futtaim Dubai laboratory, Element will provide coatings procedure approval; component forensic analysis; weld procedure qualification; and welder qualification in support of McDermott’s structural and pipeline production welding facility in Jebel Ali – Dubai.
