Element Materials Technology (Element) has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Jane Scadding as Group Procurement Director.
With over 30 years of global procurement experience, Jane joins Element from leading telecoms provider, TalkTalk plc, where she was Chief Procurement Officer.
After starting her career at Renault Trucks, Jane held positions with GlaxoSmithKline and Wincanton plc, working across the UK in a number of global operational, strategic and corporate roles.
Jane joins the Element Executive team and will report directly to CFO, Jo Wetz.
Jo Wetz commented: “Jane will be responsible for leading all strategic procurement activities globally. She will be tasked with the further development and implementation of the Group's procurement plan, driving optimization across both direct and indirect categories and embedding appropriate systems, processes and procedures across all of Element's operations.
“She will lead our global procurement team and will also have responsibility for property management across the Group, with the support of our real-estate partner, CBRE. We want to become the world’s most trusted testing partner, and Jane’s experience is vital in ensuring that we can continue to grow and develop.”
