BAE Systems Hägglunds Appoints Element Materials Technology As Testing Partner
One of the world’s leading manufacturers of combat vehicles and tracked all-terrain vehicles to use Element’s materials testing expertise.
20 February, London, UK: Element Materials Technology (“Element”), one of the world’s leading providers of materials testing services, has signed a new agreement with defence company, BAE Systems Hägglunds, one of the world’s most successful manufacturers of combat vehicles and tracked all-terrain vehicles.
With this agreement, Element’s Swedish operations in Linköping will provide a range of materials testing services to BAE Systems Hägglunds who manufacture the Combat Vehicle 90 (CV90), and the Bandvagn 410 (BvS10), which are both used by the Swedish Armed Forces as well as other major defence forces outside of Sweden.
