Frequently asked questions
How do you handle isokinetic sampling for stack emissions?
We extract samples from stack gas using specially prepared sterilized solutions. These samples are plated and stored under ideal conditions to allow living organisms to survive and form colonies. After a set period, our experts count the biological colonies and calculate concentrations from the sampled gas volume.
What are the incubation conditions for bacterial testing?
Samples are incubated for up to 7 days at 37°C for total mesophilic bacteria and for two days at 45°C for Aspergillus fumigatus.
