Rob Evans
Rob is an experienced mechanical engineer with expertise in fatigue testing, strain gaging, mechanical testing, custom fixture design, and advanced data acquisition.
Experience
Rob joined Element New Berlin in 2005 as an engineer in the Engineering Mechanics group. He advanced to Senior Engineer in 2010 and later became Manager of Engineering Mechanics in 2017. From 2020 to 2023, he led the Environmental/Paints & Coatings group before transitioning to manage the Metals Mechanical and Polymer Mechanical Testing departments.
With deep expertise in fatigue testing, strain measurement, stress/strain evaluation, dynamic loading, fixture design, and data acquisition, Rob has supported clients in automotive, aerospace, industrial, and commercial product sectors. His experience includes both laboratory and field testing, with extensive work measuring strains, forces, accelerations, temperatures, and other critical performance parameters.
