Experience

Andrew has performed metallurgical evaluations of critical rotating aerospace components and has obtained accreditations from Aerospace primes to perform and review metallurgical evaluations of these components in the laboratory. By performing failure analysis investigations for a wide variety of customers, he is uniquely suited to provide engineering support services no matter the industry.

His project experience includes: 

• Life assessment of boiler tubes and high-temperature piping
• Characterization of defects in titanium aluminide compressor wheels
• Failure analysis of a 6000lb valve body from the power generation sector
