Jason Crete
Applications Engineering Director – Environmental & Dynamics Testing
United States

Jason is a senior mechanical engineer specializing in vibration, environmental simulation, EMI/EMC testing, and aerospace and military qualification programs.
Experience
Jason Crete is a degreed mechanical engineer with more than 26 years of experience supporting aerospace, defense, nuclear, and telecommunications qualification programs. He began his career at NTS as a Project Engineer in the Nuclear Dedication Group, where he learned to operate large hydraulic shakers for seismic simulation. He later helped establish the facility’s first NEBS fire test laboratory, expanding into telecommunications and contributing to the ANSI T1 standards committee.
As Department Head of Environmental and Vibration Testing, Jason gained extensive Mil/Aero experience, including nearly a decade testing mission-critical engine components for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program. This technical foundation led him into commercial leadership positions, where he leveraged his hands-on expertise to design, plan, and price complex qualification test programs. Today, as Applications Engineering Director at Element Boxborough, Jason supports aerospace, military, nuclear qualification, and telecommunications testing initiatives.
