Experience
Mustanir has been involved in product compliance, especially CE and UKCA marking of electronic products and embedded systems for over 15 years. He began his career in the design and production of certified equipment for underground mining, before moving into the testing and certification world where he has worked in both testing and certification of safety critical electronic controls and medical electrical equipment across a range of global regulations and schemes.
Career Highlights
Mustanir is now focused on IoT and product security, acting as notified body for Element under the EU radio equipment directive (RED) for cybersecurity. He participated in the development of the EN 18031 cybersecurity standards for radio equipment and is now leading Element’s development for the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and other product cybersecurity regimes.
