What are the current UKCA deadlines?
The UK government extended the deadline to apply UKCA marks until December 31, 2024. Additionally, "easement measures" allow conformity assessment activities for CE marking undertaken by December 31, 2024, to be used as the basis for UKCA marking until December 31, 2027.
What products need UKCA marking?
Most products previously requiring CE marking now need UKCA marking for the GB market. This includes electrical and electronic equipment, radio equipment, low voltage equipment, equipment for potentially explosive atmospheres, and marine equipment. Some products have exceptions or different rules.
