Experience
Nima helps manufacturers develop global market access strategies and navigate regulatory, technical and certification requirements across the U.S., Canada, Europe and other global markets.
His areas of expertise include FCC and ISED equipment authorization, Telecommunication Certification Body (TCB) certification, EU RED and EMCD technical assessment, Radio Frequency (RF), EMC, RF Exposure (SAR, PD, HAC) and 5G New Radio (NR) testing plus wireless device certification and module integration.
As Element's Senior Global Technical Director for Connected Technologies, he provides technical leadership across Element’s global cellular, wireless and certification activities. Working across Element’s laboratories and certification teams, Nima supports consistent technical interpretation, regulatory alignment, and effective execution of wireless approval programs. He regularly advises internal teams and customers on certification strategy, documentation expectations, test requirements, regulatory changes, and technical risks that may affect product approvals.
With over 18 years in the regulatory compliance field, Nima’s experience covers a broad range of connected technologies including smartphones, tablets, wearables, IoT devices, cellular modules, routers, automotive connectivity products, medical connected devices and emerging wireless technologies.
Career Highlights
Nima is actively involved in industry and standards activities related to wireless compliance, RF exposure, EMC, radio testing and equipment authorization.
As a member of ANSI C63, he contributes to technical discussions and standards development related to U.S. EMC, radio and wireless testing requirements.
Through IEC TC106, Nima participates in international standards activities related to RF exposure, electromagnetic fields, SAR, power density, and compliance assessment methods.
Nima is also involved with REDCA, IEEE and the TCB Council, supporting industry discussions on radio equipment compliance, certification processes, technical interpretation, and evolving regulatory expectations.
By combining regulatory knowledge, laboratory experience and practical certification decision-making, Nima helps manufacturers manage approval complexity, reduce compliance risk, and bring wireless products to market with confidence.
