Element’s Filton laboratory in Bristol is a specialist development engineering centre focused on the design, build, and validation of complex systems.

Part of Element Digital Engineering with sister sites in Bristol Quayside, Derby and Cirencester, Cotswold Airport, and formerly Filton Systems Engineering, the site brings together deep expertise in systems engineering, hardware development, and integration.

We support customers across aerospace, defence, and advanced technology sectors, delivering tailored solutions from early concept through to validated product and system delivery.

Our capabilities include development consultancy, bespoke hardware design and build, and integrated testing programmes. Working alongside our Cirencester, Cotswold Airport facility, we provide a seamless route from system design to real-world validation, helping customers reduce risk and accelerate innovation.
