Taniya is a cybersecurity specialist, based in our Hull laboratory, focused on connected product security, helping organizations meet regulatory requirements through expert testing, compliance assessments, and guidance on emerging cybersecurity standards.
Experience
Taniya has over six years of experience spanning application security, IoT and radio equipment compliance, and payment device security. Based in Element's Hull laboratory Taniya currently specializes in compliance testing against EN 18031 and EN 303 645 standards. As Element's Technical Manager, Cyber Security, Taniya focuses on connected product security, regulatory compliance, and testing services for connected devices.
Career Highlights
Earlier in her career, Taniya conducted physical security assessments of payment devices against the PCI PTS POI standard and performed penetration testing of web and mobile applications in alignment with industry frameworks, including OWASP.
