Jenny Davies

Experience

Jenny Davies is a Technical Director based in Deeside, UK, with over two decades of experience in environmental testing and analytical chemistry. She holds both an MSc in Analytical Chemistry and a BSc in Chemistry with Physics from The University of Manchester.

Jenny began her career as a laboratory technician preparing soil samples for organic analysis before progressing to analyst roles in environmental testing laboratories. She spent more than a decade at Jones Environmental, advancing from Analyst to Laboratory Manager and ultimately Technical Manager. 

Throughout her career, Jenny has held senior technical leadership positions, including Technical Director, Technical Lead for the establishment of a fuel testing laboratory, and Principal Application Chemist supporting laboratories and customers across Europe. She now supports method development, technical troubleshooting, quality systems, laboratory teams and customer analytical requirements.

Career Highlights

• Jenny has led analytical method development and environmental testing, with expertise in PFAS analytical applications across laboratories in the UK and across Europe.
• She has led technical workshops and client seminars that help environmental professionals better understand analytical data, regulatory requirements and industry challenges. For example, Jenny shares her expertise within our "Fundamentals of Contaminated Land, Water & Waste Laboratory Analysis" seminar series which we deliver around the UK and Ireland.
• As a recognised technical leader, Jenny has contributed to laboratory growth, quality improvements and the development of high-quality analytical services that support customers across the environmental sector.
