Marie Armstrong is a Senior Technical Specialist at Element Deeside, bringing over 18 years of industry experience to her work in method development. Marie's career has centred on LC-MS/MS analysis, a technique that has grown in popularity across the industry throughout her career.
Alongside hands-on lab work, she supports clients directly, helping to identify the right analytical approach for their needs, and works closely with Element's analysts and technicians to help support every method she develops is practical and easy to use once it moves into routine testing.
Career Highlights
Marie spearheaded the development of Element Deeside's PFAS testing capability during a period when suitable standards and consumables were difficult to source. Through her efforts, she helped lay the foundation for a testing program that continues to expand its compound coverage year on year.
Marie shares expertise within our "Fundamentals of Contaminated Land, Water & Waste Laboratory Analysis" seminar series which we deliver around the UK and Ireland.
