About Element Newark
Element Newark provides accredited dynamics, seismic, environmental simulation, and thermal stress testing to support qualification and compliance throughout the hardware development lifecycle—from prototype through mass production. Located in the Bay Area and operating as a sister facility to Element Fremont, Newark serves aerospace, defense, telecom, data center/hyperscaler, medical, industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics manufacturers.
The laboratory offers ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing, ISTA certification, and NEBS certification services approved by Verizon and AT&T. Newark’s dynamics capabilities include vibration, shock, seismic/earthquake testing, HALT/HASS accelerated stress testing, temperature-over-vibration testing, fixture design and fabrication, and comprehensive data acquisition and analysis. Environmental testing services include temperature, humidity, altitude, thermal shock, IP ingress protection, salt fog, corrosion, ice, dust, mixed-flow gas, and high-power (up to 50 kW) heat dissipation capabilities.
With multiple walk-in environmental chambers up to 12’ x 12’ x 10’ and specialized electrodynamic and seismic shaker systems, Element Newark delivers robust qualification programs designed to validate real-world reliability and performance. The lab combines advanced environmental and mechanical test capability with deep engineering expertise to help customers meet national and international compliance requirements effectively and efficiently.
