If you are looking for reassurance that the air in your workplace, home, or general environment is acceptable to breathe, Element’s asbestos air testing can provide you with that peace of mind.
If you are undergoing asbestos removal or remediation, legislation and guidance requires you to obtain a certificate of reoccupation including clearance air testing in order to demonstrate the area is once again suitable for normal use.
Element offers UKAS accredited asbestos air testing services backed with years of industry expertise. To evaluate the concentration of airborne asbestos fibers, our technicians draw a measured volume of air from your environment through a membrane filter which captures any airborne fibers. They then mount this filter on a microscope slide and render it transparent for evaluation under phase-contrast microscopy. Our experts then count the fibers present on the filter to determine if the concentration of asbestos in the air is at an acceptable level.
